You can see the lift he's had already from the welcome. Honestly, as a football club we're such a soft touch.

Agree mate couldn't say it any better.

People being grateful that the legendary Jack Grealish was associated with our little club at one point. It's utterly PATHETIC.

Really hope we win  >:(

Assuming we win the toss and he gets on 2nd half, luckily for him he wont be getting near The Holte. If he does he'll be Bob Wilsoned.

I have been a regular and then a season ticket holder at Villa Park since I moved from Glasgow in 1967. I have seen a number of players leave us for, at the time, a more successful club, some of them running their contract down and leaving as a free agent. We got £100,000,000 for JG, so I struggle to understand the level of vitriol on this site at the moment.

Yorke, Barry, Delph. They all get it.

The day we lie down and accept that the glory days are behind us, and the likes of Man bloody City are our betters is the day we may as well just fold up the tent for good.

I don't accept that our glory days are behind us - i just don't think we're going to be a Champions League club for, at least, another couple of years.

As far as I can tell from Amazon, City have half a dozen players and we have Marvelous Nakamba.

And if he was a villa fan why couldn't he stay and help? He was the highest paid player in our history. He professed a lot of talk about his love for us.

We will agree to disagree here but he has rubbed a lot of us up the wrong way.

Plus we're Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa.

If we can get at them from the start, try to deny them possession or as little possession as possible, big ask that, however, optimistic with Gerrard getting the players focused for this, going for a 2-0 monumental victory.

Come on Villa

Disappointed that the little shitface seems to be getting away with it. I had to give up my ticket tonight or I'd be there booing my head off.

Please give him a boo from me x

I was at the BoB Wilson game right behind the goal. He seemed to hate us forever after that but ultimately I felt sorry fir him because of what happened to his daughter.
