Interesting to see Ash start. Good to see Leon Bailey in there. Like that it appears to be 4-5-1

Could be 4 2 3 1?
Pleased that Ollie is the lone striker, for whatever reason him and Ings haven't really hit it off.
Just a bit worried about how we're going to create chances.

oof for Buendia and Ings. Looks defensive as possible like last time which is fair enough

Interesting line up. It seems that it might have taken 1 game for Gerrard to realise the Ollie Ings problem. Surprised to see Young in, but may have been brought in to provide Targett with more cover against Zaha, rather for any attacking intent. Reckon he plans to sit deep and with caution and counter with Ollie and Bailey.

Love Ashley, but as a starter? One great assist last week doesn’t change anything. He shouldn’t be starting with the bench we have
Hopefully I will be proved wrong

Ings and Buendia can’t have any complaints. Both were poor last time out.

Will be interesting how we line up, Young on the left maybe? Palace due a defeat, hope it's today.

Wouldn't have started Young but he's obviously in to try to nulify Zaha.
Think we'll have him deep and push Bailey up alongside Ollie.
Would be glad to take a point all over today.

I think I like that lineup and the bench is the strongest for a long while.

Not a bad bench hopefully Sanson will get some game time even if it's just 10 mins, it'll be a start, I know Gerrard likes him.

Based on not a lot, last week, stuff I've seen written, I don't think Gerrard wants us that wide. I see us more narrow in a 433, Cash and Targett being the only ones detailed with getting chalk on their boots. But until we see exactly where Young starts the game, it'll be guesswork. Could be 442, McGinn looking to threaten cutting in from the right.
