Biggest improvement has been his fitness. Missed 18 games last season, some of those might have been for Poland, but that caused us real problems in his absence with likes of Konsa, Bogarde, Disasi all struggling. Saw a report suggesting he spent a lot of time over the summer working on his conditioning to avoid more injuries. Do realise I'm tempting fate here!

Sorry about this

Definitely shows how key he’s been all season - although that was recently demonstrated in the Salzburg game.

The right side is basically shut down without the energy and pace he brings. Couple that with the midfield absences, Pau not playing, it’s not surprising we look a bit disjointed.

It's easy to overlook, given how much of a machine Villa have become - but when players are missing the drop off in fluency is notable.

It’s remarkable how much he’s kicked on this year. For all our injuries arguably the biggest gap in the team is depth at right back. Cash is so far ahead of anything else we have - our ability to attack down both flanks completely disappears when he’s not there, meaning there’s just no space. It’s essential he’s back against Leeds.
