They don’t need god worshipping, just some balance. “Red card is all on Cash” - utter bollocks.

It's ridiculous really. More comments on Cash than Konsa. Thought Mings could have cut out that through ball too and both holding midfielders were awol.

In saying all that, Matty's crosses from deep with his right foot are not his strength and that's being kind.

Nothing annoys me more then that arms up extolling the crowd thing that he did today.

Yes mate, it's down to us isn't it? We work all week for a fraction of what you earn so it's up to us to get to game going? Fuck you.

Having said that, I like Cash and thought he was ok today but the point stands.
Fuck you and I like Cash, I’m confused…. Which is it?

It's a general point.

I didn’t read it that way but I don’t mind players getting involved in geeing up the crowd. Whatever the plans were for today they weren’t working so they need our help.

Nothing to do with Cash passing the ball to their player on the edge of the box whilst all of our players were around the 6 yard box, thus setting up a counter attack at the worst possible moment.

It was a poor cross. Happens quite a lot in games, how we were so exposed and then Konsa did what he did is more concerning.

Do you ever stop and think, given that EVERYONE thinks you're a colossal dimwit, Coops, either they're all wrong and you're right (statistically, that's not very likely) or they're right, and you actually are a colossal dimwit?

We shouldn't have been so open to a counter in the first place, that's not Cash's fault. He could have put in a decent cross and if it was cleared we would still have been wide open as the midfield two were both out of position. Both centre backs were very poor too, Konsa particularly but I thought Mings could have closed that gap.

If it was a rare event, ( a cash cock up) but it isn’t. See old Trafford .
Look at his performance today, he did some good things, but he was exposed because of his lack of positioning, the sending off incident was because he played a terrible pass to a Newcastle player and no where near a Villa player.
Look at how many times he kicked the ball out of play under no pressure whatsoever.
People want to keep excusing him but he is a weak link and needs upgrading.

You’re conflating things though - other games aren’t really relevant. The cross wasn’t great but it wasn’t unusual for a cross like that to be pulled back. It was weird that it took everyone out of the game - that was bad from the midfield. But even then the centre halves could have dealt with it. They didn’t, specifically Konsa, and that resulted in the red card.

Cash is far from perfect, but he isn’t responsible for the red card.
