Matty Cash is totally shit.
I thought he started really well and commented to a guy next to me that was caused  by having genuine competition for his place.

I thought Konsa was nowhere near for the goal and Martinez stuck to his line for the cross so Cash was isolated. Malen nowhere to be seen did not help either

He seems like a lovely bloke, and he'd be a really good player for Ipswich or Leicester.

I thought he played well TBH. Still bombing on in added time trying to make something happen. For the WHU goal. The ball was in the air quite some time. I felt Martinez could have come for it.

I like him and he's done better this season, but I just can't quite shake off the feeling of Crystal Palace that hangs around him.

Matty Cash is totally shit.

Incorrect.

Yeah, not totally.

Yeah, he is capable of putting in a decent cross, obviously the one at Arsenal, for example.

He's not brilliant, he's a sort of mid-lower PL jobbing right back.` But he's not totally shit.

Totally shit full back would be Aly Cissokho or, I dunno, Tony Luna.

Ah 'Tony Moon'.  The joke wore thin very quickly.

I don't mind Matt Cash, but he's about as mid-table as it gets.

Yes, agree. And from that level of mediocrity he can be decent or crap but he is as you say.

He was good enough for where we were & how we played, when he was bought. He's clearly not good enough for where we are or want to be. Teams are constantly exposing our right side. You could argue he doesn't get enough protection.

Cash is fine as a squad player.

Yup. He's fine as a first-choice when we're trying to establish ourselves as a top-half Premier League side, or as decent competition when we're trying to establish ourselves as a top-six side.

Yep agree with this.  I think we need another Digne type player (when Digne is on form!) as a starter at RB with Cash as an option to come on.and give a bit of energy in the closing stages of games.
