Thought he played pretty well, but I would dock McPhees wages for the set piece that had him as the man chosen to be shooting from distance.

IMO he was below par, but prepared to cut him some slack given he is returning from injury and not yet match-fit.

To be fair to Cashy he showed match fitness in final minutes if the match and was vital inception at the end when Man Utd transitioned up the pitch and stopped Garnancho ball reaching Fernandes.
That was very good defending.
It would have been a clear chance for them to score.
Though we do have Martinez!

We looked better defensively with him back, still frustrating how he turns attack into defence though. But I am sure he’s instructed

Yep, it has to be instruction. And when he does it, he gains plenty of yards, keeps possession and allows us to advance as a team up the pitch.

I thought both him and Bailey were poor. Cash gives away countless needless free kicks and  - as frank says - turns attack into defence. Our right side is our weakness.

Given the angry reaction from McPhee on the touchline when that happened, I will be STUNNED if that set piece was designed to end with a Matty Cash shot from that distance!

How many times Cash?
Though he's unlucky it was a Penalty but it's always him.

Didn't think there was enough in the penalty to overturn the original decision of not giving it.  Certainly not a clear and obvious one.

Cash go on about his business with a lot of energy but bodily movements - if not arms and legs all over the place, his not best at putting his effort in with a controlled challenge or move in tight situations hence some clumsy fools (and pens against) and loosing the ball when trying to dribble. Body control and technical ability lacking some at this level.

Agree with both above comments. Cash does get himself into trouble with his flailing about, but I thought it was a bit harsh yesterday to overturn the onfield decision.
