Christian Purslow needs to accept the team have completely given up on the current manager. Before it gets to a point of real concern cut ties. This isn’t getting any better with Dean Smith as manager. His time is up.

That last 10 minutes against Wolves is really going to define our season, isn't it?

Confidence completely drained.

In a strange sort of perverse way, I hope that we don’t put an improved performance in for the second half.

I fear the team putting in a better performance will result in a plaster being stuck on a wound that it is festering ultimately

If we play as badly as we did in the first half, then surely it’s time we move on.

Buendia with another passenger performance.

40m we blew on him. Absolute rip off
Rubbish.  He is a very good player in a shite set up.

I've not seen a lot to back that up. He misplaces a lot of simple passes, gets caught on the ball and shrugged off too easily. He had good numbers at Norwich but I didn't spend an awful lot of time watching them in any great detail.

Out of position or not, I'm struggling to see a £35m player in there.
His football for Norwich was sublime.   He is class.   Just in a car crash set up at the moment.

I've often been happy to stick up for El Ghazi in the past, but his 'performance' in that first half was nothing short of disgraceful.

It was Smith's Leicester.

We are going to get relegated if he stays. No one believes me, but we are easily a bottom 3 team right now.

the worrying thing is we are now getting that air, that stench about us that signals a struggle for the rest of the season. We have got to act now before it’s too late and it becomes entrenched.

We are so narrow we really don’t give ourselves a chance, no space and easy to defend against. Southampton stretch the play and find space and create a tempo. It’s not hard but we’ve totally lost our way now. We smell of fear.

I am probably the last of the happy clappers and haven't quite fallen into 'Smith Out' territory yet. It is getting hard though, he isn't sorting out our problems. Cash has been overrun every chuffing week, we still look like the players just met in the car park. Thoroughly depressing.

Send Axel back what Dean sees in him is beyond me. Yes El Ghazi should have been replaced lucky to stay on. Typical of Smith he will wait til were down to ten men before making a change. Felt a bit sorry for Mings he is doing what he can with little or no support. Southampton are a piss weak side that are playing us off the park.
