Not convinced about that team - would rather not see Beudia as 10 - and would rather have had Chuck in the midfield and Beudia right and no AEG

Hope I’m wrong - but feels like he may be going out with a whimper.

My early morning positively is wearing a bit thin

I mean I selected the team for him earlier - it’s like he doesn’t even read this Forum

I worry about Sean Long off the bench. He seems to have a knack of scoring against us.

As does Shane Long.

Cheers. I knew it didn't look right ::).

I immediately had Google to make sure after I'd posted to check that my smartarsery hadn't made me look like a dick!

Dreadful line up.

But I reckon it will be a good open game.

4.4.

I suspect Sanson has played his last game for Smith, file under Engels and Guilbert.

I can understand why AEG has come in on the left wing, he can only provide more defensive cover than Bailey's non existent efforts last time out.

I can also understand the Tuanzebe/Mings decision. But unfortunately it makes Deano look indecisive. Hause at RCB was never an option for me but he might think he did enough at LCB to keep the shirt. In any case it's a return of our promotion CB pairing.

Options might be limited but I have no faith in a Nakamba/McGinn midfield two at this level. Mings direct to Watkins is going to be our primary option all night. If Jacob Ramsey is fit enough for the bench he should have started for me.

Romeu and SWP look a stronger pairing than our 2.

We have spent all that money and yet still don't look particularly great.  I hope they ram those words back down my laptop but our midfield is so physically weak.  I hope this is one of El Ghazi's better games.  Buendia should be the spare man in midfield and needs to find the space and time to steal goals for us.

The Sanson situation really hacks me off. It is unbelievable how little he has played given the price and how highly he was rated.

Is that a p take for Sanson or did DS genuinely say he was missing due to that?!
