Buendia one of the few who looked capable of delivering a spark. Young presumably staying on so Smith doesn't have to admit making a mistake.

We've done nothing but sign championship players. Eventually, that's where it gets you. Release clause or not if he thought there was a realistic chance this "project" would work Jack would have stayed.
