We've done nothing but sign championship players. Eventually, that's where it gets you. Release clause or not if he thought there was a realistic chance this "project" would work Jack would have stayed.

Can we just remember for a moment why this came about because the super sub ashley young lost the ball very poorly leaving us in trouble.
