I'd have taken off Mings rather than Axel. Mings has been atrocious today and is a red card in waiting too. The system hasn't helped any of the CH's to be fair, but still. Mings is an accident waiting to happen.

Agreed....don't think Cash looks fit either. Much better since the system change

18 months from the Champions League and 45 minutes from the sack.

That to me reads as the penalty taker gets one kick only.

As expected, bastard Smith-Rowe has been everywhere.

If we do manage the next goal a lot of doubt will start to enter into the Arsenal team and fans.

18 months from the Champions League and 45 minutes from the sack.

This could actually happen with a good manager in charge.

Have to say, though, the improvement being so marked accentuates the question over why he waited till the game was lost before making it.

Fuck me, 100 times better inside 5 minutes.

It is better but why wasn't 433 the formation from the start?

Smith has got some explaining to do because he's killed us today.

It's amazing what playing a system suited to your players can do. Deano hasn't helped himself. It's taken him too long to see this system doesn't work. A game and a half of it working doesn't make it an effective system (for us).

If we'd played like this from the start we'd be well in the game rather than hoping for an early goal to make them nervous.

No reason why Dean Smith could of made these changes after 15 mins. We could all see what was happening/going to happen.
