Ings is really starting to look like a panic signing to pacify the natives after Rat boy.  No chemistry at all between him and Watkins

System-wise - hard to judge, but one thing I will say is a danger of wingback systems is that they tend to have chances fall to them, and as we saw a bit with Cash today and definitely with Targett at Old Trafford that can be sub-optimal.

Cash has had a great half, the link up play and getting the ball into the box has been working very well.

Ings is a quality player and in now way a panic buy. Maybe it's not working yet, but that doesn't mean to say it wont.

Did Watkins play as a two while at Brentford?

He's played really well yeah, but I'm not sure I'd have him over Bert when a shot opens up on the edge of the box.

Like Traore, he tried to break the back of the net. At least down the right we look a threat.

Oh yes, I forgot that Maupay was there at the same time.

Was more a criticism of 3 at the back - wouldn't mind seeing both of them down that side.

Bugger. Targett is such a good defender, but wish he could attack better

Like the Everton game this could go either way, hard to tell at the moment. People will get frustrated with DS i fhe persists with OW.

Oh there you go.... 1-0
