I'd have Hause instead of Mings

No real shock with that team. Feels like the time to give Ramsey a rest for a few weeks given he's dipped a bit and Axel was always going to come back.

Yeah, but why was Axel always going to come back? What's Hause done wrong? This thing that Axel is some sort of Beckenbauer with the ball, I don't buy.

I love Hause but he was uncomfortable v Spurs. Son made him proper lower league for the winner with ease he went past him to get the cross in.

So yes these are standards we need if we're going to head towards top 6 eventually. Likes of Hause and Ramsey dip a bit and so go out of the team given we have good squad depth now.

Dosen't mean they can't come back into team later on in the season and do a good job for us.

Perhaps we'll see Hause today as sub if we're 1 up with 15 minutes left and they put on Jimenez. Perhaps push Axel into DM if Luiz flags around that time.

Interesting Doug starts. Surely no way he'll last 90 minutes so think I'd rather have had him on the bench given how game will likely pan out.
Hopefully Sanson gets a run today. Might get 20-30 mins when Dougie gets a rest.

Yeah that's a good option. Sanson hadn't played six months and was thrown in v Chelsea and did more than o.k.

When everyone is fully fit we're going to have a really really good bench full of good options either to see out a game we're winning or if it's poised at 1-1. Hopefully we won't have to wait until May to see it.

Of course it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that Dean has picked a back three to deal with the dingles and specifically Adama,  as AT is quicker than KH?

Scrappy game really. One poor error from Axel and glimpse of goal for Buendia apart, not much has gone on really.

Fucking hell, no Bailey again. Why aren't we allowed to have nice things?

We should have had a corner there. Why can't VAR just have a quick word in the ref's ear and get him to award it?
