United wont be that poor 2nd half so we have to prepare for abit of a onslaught.

Playing well but i want to see more from ings. He is apassenger in this game. I would have prob played a attacking winger like traore/buendia and had ings on bench

Could've done that, but then we'd have been playing 5-4-1 and I think the blast radius from CD exploding would've taken out most of the hemisphere.

I really hope this isn't another one where we have to 'take the positives' but not the points.

Its got that feeling about it hasn't it. Especially given the chances we've missed.

Our season isn't going to be defined by today though. We took the postives out of the Chelsea game and smashed Everton so whatever happens second half we can do the same to Spurs.

Our general level is miles above what it was in the three August games so just shows what a disjointed pre season can do. Now we look a top half team and still have a couple of key players to start.

It won't be defined by today, I agree.  But we do not want to be perennial plucky losers against Chelsea / Man Utd etc either.  Bored of writing games like this off.

That’s the point, we’re not writing these games off. We went for it against Chelsea and it seems like we’ve gone for it so far today. We’re trying to win.

The point I' making is that it's great we're trying to win and being brave on the ball.  Shit finishing aside, we'd be in front and that is a positive.  So, we've moved on from how we used to stink these places out in the bad old days.  I want us to actually win too and not be happy with just being in the game.

I see what your saying Rigadon. It would be nice for a change to win here. I get that.

Mind you we did well against a fair few of Sky’s favourites last season so maybe we are changing that mentality.

I was going to ask the same thing but I'm a lot less stressed without one. Having a pork pie and loving life.
