Two games against these and still looking good.
Onwards to the title in a couple of seasons.

Good performance. Proud of the lads.

Marv looked like he was shitting bricks and was never going to score. Fuck knows what Steer was doing…looked like a really bad player trying to save penalties on FIFA diving so early.

Oh well…3pts against Man Utd on Saturday please!!!

Well done smith all on you

Stupid weak bench and u have no pen takers.

The excellent performance by our reserves against the best team in Europe is all on him?

Yeah, probably.

Had he put ings or watkins on the bench we would have won that. He blew it
Yeah, coz that’s all it takes. Didn’t Olly miss a couple at the start of last season?

3-3.

All on last penalty. Really surprised Archer didn't take one.

Yes because he snatched at a few chances 1st half. Then scored a very good goal so just surprised he didn't take a pen instead of Nakamba given his confidence would've been right up, that's all.

You were criticising him at half-time.
3-3.

Nakamba should have been 11th in the penalty taking list. I couldn't believe my eyes when he was rocking up to the spot in 3rd, shitting his pants.

We need to stop slagging off Dean, especially when the line up comes out.

This team is competitive and the players have clearly bought in. Regardless of formation or personnel decisions we are not going to roll over for anyone anymore. We are a lot stronger than we let on and the boys need support.

That being said.. somebody put this Flin5tone guy on a leash.

Thought we look good, very technical at times, fair to say Chelsea know they've had a game tonight, this was no walk in the park for them, we could have won that in the 90.

Well done the lads, bring on the next.

Penalties are a lottery, Nakamba, Barkley and Mount all put them in the same place but Kepa guessed right and Jed didn't.

Thought Nakamba had a great game but...I never want to see him take a peno again! The 90 min cup ties + penos are great.

May I be the first to sat that the team was a "disgrace" not only to the competiotion abut to the travelling fans as well, who paid £37 to watch that absolute shambles of a display against the Euro champs!!  I bet Flin5tone is absolutely crushing gravel with his bare teeth in frustration and disapointment!!!!

Well played boys.  Gives me real hope for this club.  Archer's finish was sublime from a perfect cross.  Great performance.  I'm feeling pretty proud as a Villa fan tonight.

oh oh oh
Play a proper keeper and have better players on bench we go through. Blame at managers door

Chelsea had lukaku on bench we didn't take ings or Watkins

Disgrace

Oh he shoots he scores!!!!!  Jog on you tesco bag wearing troll.  Our U23's would wipe your seniors off the park :)
