As pleased as I am for Cam, I'm surprised not to see either Ings or Watkins on the bench. Just hope he can show what he is capable of.

Never mind the weakened team, it's the unwelcome return of 4-2-3-1. Urgh.

Is Bailey injured or just rested?

I think injured and hopedully precaution to have him for Saturday against manure

Major doubt for Saturday according to Ashley Preece.

Some perspective on the relative cost of tonight's squads. This is what they/we have paid for the players on both sides where fees have been involved

Kepa £72m
Kante £30m
Saul £4m
Chilwell £50m
Zyech - £33m
Werner - £48m
Barkley £15m
Havertz £70m
Lukaku £98m
Total £375m

Cash £14m
Hause - £3m
Sanson £15.5m
Marvelous £11m
Traore - £17m
Buendia £33m
El Ghazi £8m

Hause - £3m
Caleb - £300k
Total £96.8

Yep  they've spent 4x what we have.

That's the measure of how far we are away from being title contenders.

No worries. Big Caleb will rough up the Chelsea back four.

Cam should've scored there, great play by Sanson.

That would have been the same as his second goal in the last round
