I think it's probably a good idea to rest a couple of players, but I'd generally prefer we tried to actually win the thing.

Go 3-5-2 since that almost yielded results last time.

Martinez

Axel - Konsa - Hause

Traore - Buendia - Nakamba - Luiz - Young

Ings - Watkins

I think we’ll go something like that, but rest a couple more league starters. Chuckwuemeka for Luiz say, maybe Archer for one of Watkins / Ings

Topic is a human chocolate, although dogs might like them I suppose.

Much as I'd like to see Archer etc I'd prefer us to have a proper go at winning this.  Players like Watkins & Ings should be capable of playing Sat - Wed - Sat, particulalry with all the international breaks.  I think a win and the momentum would be better for us as a club than giving the fringe players minutes.  The kids time will come - Smith has shown that if they are good enough he will back them.

To add to that, if one of them were to be injured as a result, we can at least switch to a lone striker, or bring on Archer/Traore/Buendia/Bailey etc.

We're geared up so much better this year.

                 Steer

Cash Tuanzebe Hause Young

          Nakamba Chukwuemeka

               Buendia

Traore     Watkins       AEG

Yeah stick with the formation that saw us lose three-nil rather than changing to the one that obliterated Everton 😳

Sack it off, rest key players for the meaningful league games to come.

Regardless of formation I wouldn't want to see Traore with such heavy defensive responsibilities unless we're 6-0 up.
