They have their main strike force out, and ours are not getting the right service.

Either stick with the formation and swap Buendia for Ramsey or Luiz, or change it to 4-3-3 and get Bailey on for Tuenzebe, Watkins wide.

Huff and puff. Plenty of the ball, but all too predictable in attack. Losing McGinn was problem because he's already wasted a sub by bringing on a defensive player, to an already unimaginative line up.

There's too much attacking quality on the bench to be playing 5 defenders. There's no one in midfield with that eye of the needle pass and we've just lost our best of the three players.

It's all a bit Southgate for me, minus having Sterling/Kane up top. Ings has worked very hard but is being wasted. No one is on who'll pick him out or draw defenders away.

Mings has been very good today and hopefully keeps his head on.

When you have the run of games we have coming though, and we're at home to Everton, with only 4 points from our first 12...why aren't we being more adventurous? Dean isn't supposed to be this pragmatic a manager. When did he turn into Steve Bruce?

I'd have Buendia on at half-time for one of of 4th centre halves.  There is zero guile on that pitch aside from Ings and he is too far up top to affect the game.

As decent as we've been, Everton look the more likely to score. We'll only have ourselves to blame if they do.

This has 80+ minute double substitution written all over it.
Come on Dean make it earlier and set us up for a stormer with Bailey & Buendia.

Waste of a sub...moved Luiz from a position he was doing well and we didn't need another defensive player on...

I'd be looking to get Tuanzebe off and Buendia or Bailey on soon
