I like the line up personally, so long as Cash and Targett get forward. Watkins and Ings up top.

Come on Villa !

Lets face it - what ever selection any manager we ever have makes people on here will slag it off. I know we all have an opinion and thats fine but is there any chance we could try and see the odd positive?
The negativity on here is over the top sometimes.
Come on me babbies !!

Looking forward to the days when there are no matches where we expect, with a high degree of certainty to lose. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long.

It’s fine if the wing backs get out, but if they get pinned back then Chelsea will sit on top of defense.
It could be ugly.

Will be tough. Alonso bombs on down their left like no tomorrow so can see Cash being pinged back so hopefully Axel can help him out.

Interesting who Chelsea play on the other side, assumed Hudson Odoi but think Calobah played right back for them in first game so we'll see.

Certainly far from the strongest 11 Chelsea could put out. Just seen Barkley on their bench, thought he'd been cut from their squad.

The front two will be very important off the ball as well as on if we're getting anything today.

To create for Ings and Ollie, we need big games from Cash and Targett

Not happy with that team selection. Hoping Smith proves me wrong though.

Positives are seeing Watkins and Ings together, and assume McGinn and Ramsey will play further forwards which will suit them.

Bailey and Traore on the bench could be a strong pair to brong on second half.

Jed Steer's staring is going to play a massive role here.
