The Doors were very successful without a real bass player, maybe Dean thinks we can be successful without a real midfield.

I’m trying to work out where the creativity is coming from…

There is a lot of creativity on the bench though. Disappointed Bailey isn’t starting, but hopefully will be on around 50-60 mins.

We all know it'll be after 80 minutes when we're two nil down.

Chelsea have taken a chance with that 11. We should be going after them. Two up top though, so still a chance.

The Doors were like five-at-the-back football teams: shite.

True
If Chelsea have an off day and don’t continuously pin us back
and we can find a way of getting the ball to the two up top
You never know

Harsh but true. As for the Villa today, well, it's a risk changing a system with barely a couple of days prep. Hope Dean knows what he's doing... Soon find out!

we've got two forwards on the pitch who have both proven they only need one chance to score - if we defend well then we're in with a shot

I hope this line up is a one off. Last season Deano got points from the top teams with more attacking line ups.

It isn't in any way three at the back. We have five defenders on the pitch, like when we lost eight-nil. Fucking garbage.

If McLeish did this he'd be getting torrents of abuse and quite rightly.
I knew you'd love this!!
I'd hope that on 55-60, we see both Traore and Bailey come on; hopefully when it's still a competitive game. may also get to see the proper start of Sanson's Villa career.
