I'm looking forward to today's match I really think we can get something.

I wish I could say the same. I have nagging worries about us struggling in the bottom half of the table this season that I just can't shake off.

They’ll walk through our piss weak midfield putting too much pressure on our good defence and meaning that we don’t get a grip of possession enough to feed our good strikers. The gk situation means it’ll be even tougher. Same at Man Utd making the Everton home game critical to get three points in that.

Emi i
4-2-3-1 for me.

JED! Woah oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

Cash
Konsa (Tuanzebe if unfit)
Mings
Targett

Nakamba
Ramsey

Bailey
McGinn
Buendia

Ings

I don’t think Buendia is available after the farcical Brazilian International.

D'oh! Of course. El Ghazi, then.

Surely Ollie's gotta start

I don't think we're in the realms of the past where we give up before a ball is kicked. We are better than that now, I just think it's a step too far given the mess of the last few months.

I shall be trying to watch the match and the Mayo V Tyrone match in the All Ireland Final at the same time which is most inconvenient scheduling.

What are you thinking re Mayo v Tyrone? You couldn't back Mayo with stolen money in a final...but I hope they do it

History weighs heavy for Mayo, that's probably their biggest hurdle to overcome. The semi against Dublin may also be looked upon as a peak but I'm hopeful they can win. I'll take a Mayo win and Villa loss or vice versa.

Will be trying to watch both down the Sacred Heart by the Villa. My family are Dubs but the wifes are from Mayo, so hoping they break the curse.
Cant see much for Villa today, standard 2-0 to Chelsea, given the injuries, lack of game time, international mess for us.

In terms of the team

Steer
Cash
Konsa
Mings
Targett

Luiz
McGinn
Ramsey

Ings
Watkins
Bailey

Will be watching the All-Ireland on TV and following the Villa on my phone. Hoping for at least a Villa draw and a win for the green and red of Mayo!

I’ve got a feeling he will start Young. I think this is the wrong thing to do as he should be here to share his leadership and as a back up to Targett.

Surely not at CM. Ramsey, Luiz, McGinn and Nakamba all available so three of those four will start.

At the cousins in Westport ready to watch Mayo today - a Mayo/Villa double hopefully - but the odds point to a Chelsea/Tyrone win unfortunately.

I have just seen that we are 9/1 to win with the bookies. Cheeky f*ckers.

Do they pay the players yet?
