Thought we were going to get smashed in this but apparently Chelsea having a few doubts on key players and us having our ones available means I  can see it being reasonably close now.

Probably some good spells of play but boring 2-0 defeat.

Good point. Played the first half for the U23's nearly two weeks ago, looked OK, if a little overweight although that may be his usual size, it's that long since we saw him it's difficult to tell.

Training but they want him to have more competitive minutes before throwing him into first team football. Smith said they were trying to arrange some more friendlies for him.

Is there any indication of what the injuries to Chuck and JPB are anywhere?

Steer, Cash, Targett or Young, Konsa, Mings, Luiz, McGinn, Ramsey, Ings, Bailey, Watkins then.
Apart from the GK full strength with the exception of Buendia putting pressure on the forwards and Sanson putting pressure on the midfielders.

Bailey and Watkins are key, not only for their individual skills, but also they bring pace to the team which we need to threaten Chelsea.

To be fair we don't know that much about Bailey yet, but it would be awesome to see him run rings around them and help us to 3 points. Problem is, the ****** would be tapping him up after the game to sign for them next summer.

Seems like we will have a pretty strong squad then minus the Argies. This should be a tough game for Chelsea with nearly all their players away playing multiple international games last week. At s minimum we need to make it a very tough game for them.

I see Chukwuemeka has joined JPB in getting injured. Never understood the point of England under-21 etc matches. Ffs.
