Without meaning to go all TSM, I’ll take a nice 2-0 defeat.

I fear it might be much worse.

If it's 4-4-2
Then i think we will have to narrow the available attacking space and with high pressing from the front , wide and our central two middle men it can be a case of disruption to Chelsea's play. Winning the ball back and have to be aggressive in attacks once in possession

And that could be the case moving forward in a 4-4-2
Watkins and Ings press from the front.

I guess looking on the bright side, their entire squad has probably been somewhere across the globe in internationals so they might not be the well oiled machine we fear.

Only fair that as we have to play our reserves, they return the favour by playing theirs in the cup game.

I hope we get something at the Bridge so I'm going for a 1-1 draw.

I don't think we're in the realms of the past where we give up before a ball is kicked. We are better than that now, I just think it's a step too far given the mess of the last few months.

I shall be trying to watch the match and the Mayo V Tyrone match in the All Ireland Final at the same time which is most inconvenient scheduling.

What are you thinking re Mayo v Tyrone? You couldn't back Mayo with stolen money in a final...but I hope they do it

i must admit to have ignored football related media since our last game (couldn't give a flying fuck about England now).  Are we really going to be missing players again?!  Through the fact they played / tried to play their countries?  If so that is a massive piss take.

What about Bailey?

History weighs heavy for Mayo, that's probably their biggest hurdle to overcome. The semi against Dublin may also be looked upon as a peak but I'm hopeful they can win. I'll take a Mayo win and Villa loss or vice versa.

As I have no affiliation to Mayo or Tyrone I’ll take the Villa win please

Wonder if we go 3-5-2

Steer
Axel - Konsa - Mings
Young - Luiz - McGinn - Targett
Traore
Watkins - Ings
