Midfield and defence looks ropey.

Terribly. We look like we need a big hard holding mid.

I'm looking forward to some silky set-pieces by the way.

I think there's are better than ours. But then I'm no expert.

Well it was not the best at times but I did enjoy it. Such a shame we haven't got Mings, McGinn, Ramsey or Bailey fit for this one.

Shocking start, improved thereafter. Still, anybody notice we never pass to the man under the slightest bit of pressure in midfield or attack? Always the safe option, and then always looking for a channel ball rather than something precise into feet. Like we want every attack to be a counterattack.

We got real lucky with the Emi free kick, Emi had clearly released the ball.  I'm not sure their lad did a lot wrong.  Good job the Referee is soft as shite.  We lack creative spark at the moment.

I see that Brentford still have that niggly 'shithouse quality' about them.

They press much better than we do and Toney holds it up well. Ings is a good finisher but we miss Watkins's all-round game. We can score more but we need to tighten up or they will too. Midfield balance not right (again).
