Jesus. And is that Carney in a deep two? I seriously hope Buendia is going to be closer to the midfield than against Watford because I do not fancy that in a midfield battle against a three.

Jesus fcukin Christ. The squad doesn’t look quite as strong as we thought it would be when it’s depleted with injuries/Covid. Our first XI and bench is strong when all fit…let’s just hope we they all step up.

So the twitter rumours were pretty much correct again.

That midfield looks very worrying. Where is Young playing? Buendia in the middle isn't his strength at all. Amazed Nakamba is not in there with Chuck and Doug.

Not sure why Hourihane is not in the starting line-up given the need for experience and cover. Massive boost for Brentford with Mings and McGinn both out.  Must be honest, will be happy with a draw today.

I have a weird feeling that Young will play close to Luiz, with Chuk as a 10.

The more worrying thing for me is these rumours keep leaking out. As for the team, horses for courses. Dean has young in their for his experience and leadership, with what is essentially a team with young players or inexperienced at this level. He could of Hourihane in or nakamba or philogene bidace and some wouldn’t be happy.

Going to be really tough, if we get a result it will be a great achievement given 6 potential starters not in the team

Hourihane surely leaving next week so that's why he isn't starting. Brentford will try to play through us rather than launching long balls so can understand axel instead of hause.

Probably more that it seems like it as we don't follow other team's injury lists as closely. According to this, plenty teams have 5, 6 or 7 players out at the moment with minor injuries.

Chukwuemeka is always taking it on the turn, looking to press forward. Love it.

He needs to learn the pace of mens football though, been caught on the back foot 2-3 times. In fairness he is 17, and that is all about playing and learning

Shocking start, improved thereafter. Still, anybody notice we never pass to the man under the slightest bit of pressure in midfield or attack? Always the safe option, and then always looking for a channel ball rather than something precise into feet. Like we want every attack to be a counterattack.

We got real lucky with the Emi free kick, Emi had clearly released the ball.  I'm not sure their lad did a lot wrong.  Good job the Referee is soft as shite.  We lack creative spark at the moment.

They press much better than we do and Toney holds it up well. Ings is a good finisher but we miss Watkins's all-round game. We can score more but we need to tighten up or they will too. Midfield balance not right (again).

I am still looking at the other scores to see if there are 3 worse sides than us

Considering how many players we have out, I'd say we are easily good enough to actually have a very good season.

Yep, Norwich, Watford, Southampton, Palace, Brighton for a start will finish below us. Dear me

It is more of a natural fear. We do need a lot more control in midfield.

Ha, ha. I can relate to that!!!

El Ghazi has put a good shift in. I like the guy.

I wonder how long the media and neutrals will praise 'Ickle Brenftord' before they realise they are dirty spoilers?

These injuries are really unlucky.  But...  I can't see what we are actually trying to do either with the ball or without it.  Headless chickens.

Oh, and our full backs are hopeless going forward and not strong enough positionally.

Their goalie and defence are all build like brick shithouses. These aimless crosses into the box to nobody are pointless.

If that's a long term injury for Konsa then the ephysio team needs sacking. Remember, they were the ones who let Trez continue against liverpool.
