Only just noticed that Mark Cooper didn’t even look Dean Smith in the face when shaking hands at the end.

It’s just engrained in them.
Barrow is a tough place to grow up and work in. By all accounts the fans were really respectful on both sides, he did look a miserable fecker though.

No, by “them”, I meant being a “nose”. Nothing to do with Barrow or the people.
Gotcha. Easy to get inferences wrong.

Thats brilliant, makes you proud of the club. The word "class" comes up a lot theses days, doesnt it? Also the Barrow fans forum was full of praise for the fans on the night, and the gesture re the receipts.

After watching there first class performance from mostly youths, and the way the club and fans mingled round town before game
And now they donate the match fee ?
What a fabulous club they are
Thank you to Aston Villa and hope you have a great season"

"Absolutely spot on"

Just a couple of the quotes on Barrow fan forum I can find! Really bloody lovely stuff!

Efficient performance. Really impressed with JPB and Cam -the latter has really filled out since going out on loan and looks more equipped for the physical battle in the higher levels.

His finishing reminded me a bit of Gary Shaw in his prime, except we never saw GS in his prime, of course!

Oh just seen the stats. Not a single corner in entire 90 minutes absolutely disgraceful.

we did have a corner 2nd half the stats are wrong.
