Been watching clips of him on YouTube. Hilarious, but very bittersweet.

I've always loved his critique of a kid's panto on The Big Fat Quiz of the Year. The panel are gagging at his brilliant rant.

That Panto rant is one of my all time fave bits of comedy.

Kids' acting critique. He's only saying what we're all thinking...

Very funny clip and very sad. My older brother is a lifelong Chelsea supporter and he was really gutted about one of their own so to speak. The fact that he was only 58 makes it worse

We had a beer with him in the Hotel Du Vin in Brum a few years ago - really good guy, down to earth, knew his football and funny with it too. Fair play to Chelsea on this one.

Blimey...really? Good riffing by Sean, and I like the way it encapsulates his loathing of "luvvy" comedy/celebritities but...he did far better than this. And James fcuking Corden is in it too.

I really should have put a James Corden warning on that clip. Apologies.

The same day I’d had results of neck and chest scans clearing the threat of any cancer cells remaining after my thyroid had been removed due to cancer six months prior, I find out one of my favourite comedians dies of some form of cancer. This really hit home for me, I was relieved by my own fortunes and the stress that had built over the previous week and yet gutted to hear the news. Always wanted to see him at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Glad to hear the all clear mate. He vanished off Cats Does Countdown for a while about 3 years ago and when he came back he looked like he'd been ill and his voice had changed so I suspect his might have been neck/chest related.

I managed to see him twice, he was great.

Cheers mate.

First saw him on tele appearing on Room 101 twenty years ago, it’s on Youtube. Was superb at the comical rant. Also did a bit about how rubbish modern football is at a Cup Final. Had no idea he’d been off tele for three years.

Wahey! I have it on DVD but I'm a lazy fucker. Always worth a watch, won't be to everyone's taste but I love it. Off to shout 'Oi!' at people roller blading.
