Unless one of you is Dean Smith I don’t see the point in arguing about the starting x1

Nor even discussing on a pre-match thread. That's it folks, close it down, nuff said

Come on, we have got to unparalleled levels of starting X1 permutations.
Maybe we should have a spot the line up competition instead of spot the crowd, I think it would be more interesting.

Well I suppose it’s a positive that we’ve got permutations now. For too long our first team has picked itself.

Ok, what else shall we talk about before the game? The weather? How you getting there? Where you watching it? Where you going for breakfast?

To be fair, it's quite a conundrum trying to put this team together, I find it quite interesting. For two years now our team has pretty much picked itself.

Reverse psychology.
It doesn’t work. I used to do this in my infancy by bringing up every score we could lose by but in the end it’s about praying at the oak tree in Aston park.

Eh?? Isn't that a bit like saying if none of us are the ref then there's no point arguing about a penalty decision?

actually where you are watching it, who you are going with, where you are having a beer before and after.
Punch up pies and programs all part of the match day experience.

Chicago's right.  We shouldn't be arguing about this -

                            Martinez
       Cash     Konsa      Mings      Young

                                 Luiz*

                   McGinn          Buendia

          Bailey             Ings           Watkins

*Until we get a proper DM.

Discussing the starting 11 on a football forum. Blasphemy!
