We've gone from one of the most creative players in world football to some guy that was totally anonymous when we hammered his old club 5-1. Okay...

They better get some more signings in because this ain't it.

After a 4 year hiatus from this site I see nothing has changed 😊

If he sends us out with no changes after that, I'll be genuinely amazed.

Sad to say that I won’t. Traore for El Ghazi on 65 minutes is my guess.

This is what happens when you start the season undercooked and lose your best player just a few days before it starts.

Disappointing thing for me is anyone could see Targett was massively struggling after 10 minutes.....yet it took until 40 minutes for us to tweak anything and move AEG over there (who's awful on the right anyway).

It's those little things for me, no way would top level managers like Tuchel try to wait until end of halves to try to change things, they'd be doing it after 20 minutes.

Now we're 2 down and looking impossible to even get a point now with our general lack of tempo.

Spot on 👏

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the return of fans. Our sides have been very chicken-hearted over the years and easily get intimidated by raucous away grounds. This will cost us a lot of points vs last year.

Half time can’t come quickly enough, they are properly battering us.
Really?

What? Do you think we are playing well?

No we are playing crap but they are not battering us

No we are playing crap but they are not battering us.  Sarr is the only problem, sort him out and start playing and we’ll be ok but that very unlucky goal means we will struggle to take anything from this game now.  I’m expecting us to come out firing and if we don’t then I will worry

Struggling to see us get anything out of this game. Bloody damage limitation at the moment.

This is one of those times when I wish we had voted in favour of the five subs rule!

The owners won't tolerate this for long. There is no excuse for looking so disjointed and completely lacking in any cohesion even this early in the season.

Watford really aren't great and are throwing together a whole bunch of new players too.

That was as bad a half as any worst nightmare scenario.

First game I know, but so far Buendia looks like a less robust Carles Gil.

Might help if we played him on the right, you know, where he normally plays. Just a thought.

He's seen it. Ramsey on for Targett. Imagine Young at left back.

That’s me wrong, Targett sacrificed, Ramsey on. 3 at the back?

All ready for Troy Bluenose fucking Deeney coming on after about 65mins and getting his usual goal against us?
