"Success or immortality" is an excellent summary of what awaits Grealish.

It makes me want to weep, that's all true.

I'll be impressed if a twenty five year old makes the right decision. I'd have taken the dosh and the legs.

Actually, what's the right move!

“If Jack Grealish wants to leave there’s not a lot we can do about it.”

Why, unless there’s this doggone release clause? There’s everything the club can do about it, and should do about it.

Bollocks, I thought that had been fixed. Try going in via www.thebirminghampress.com

Still the same error message Dave. I am using an iPad, does that affect the link?

Fine in Chrome on ipad.

It used to be a problem I'm chrome so the answer was to open in an incognito window

It’s nice to have a regular lead in to the season after last year and I agree it seems to be starting earlier than in 2019!

I enjoyed what you wrote about pre season under DE and the midfield issue is going to be a very long thread this season, you can see it coming.

Absolutely, I agree with you and everybody who’s commented that success or immortality faces Jack, but for me, it’s difficult to understand how he could turn up for training with his teammates if he’s thinking of going.

(And I’m reading this on an iPad, with Safari.)

Wes just needs to sit Jack down, put a new rch as Croesus contract in from of him, read those last two paragraphs out and hand him a pen.
