I’d leave him out of the squad entirely on Wednesday. I think he’s totally shot now unfortunately.

He will be on the bench.

Unfortunately I agree. I don’t like sticking the boot into a player who’s just not good enough anymore but he’s clearly way short and has been for a long time now.

Just after coming on tonight, some fans enthusiastically broke into the Leon Bailey song. Less than two minutes later, the very same group were hurling abuse and invective at him.

It just summed up a desperate and miserable evening. Why Unai thought he would make a difference, I have no idea.

Inept, washed up waste of space. If we had to take him back to secure Abraham at least play Abraham!

We bought Abraham from Besiktas not Roma, he’s got nothing to do with Bailey.

Story was Roma had to play ball to permit Beskitas to sign him.to sell on to AVFC.

He was shit when we moved him on, and he's worse now we've brought him back.

Just terrible.

I though Tammy had already met all the criteria which meant that Besiktas had to sign him.

Seems like a lovely down to earth bloke but he's so far away from good enough at this level now. I'd imagine he'll be in Turkey or the MLS next season.

Diabolical. Should not be in the squad.

Can't really blame the player, more so the person who picked him, I mean what was Emery thinking, hasn't he seen enough evidence that Bailey is shot as a footballer, what were his expectations.

Looks like Gasperini at Roma had the measure of him pretty quickly. Very little heart or confidence.
