I’d swap Bailey for Malen in the champs league squad
I know we can’t do it now,  but I wish we had

Noticed Jamaica drew 1-1 with Trinidad.
Is Leon off the scene?

He was back in for their last competitive matches. I'm assuming the latest friendlies were just for players who play in North America as it isn't a main international window so they wouldn't be allowed to call up players from European clubs. Hadn't previously noticed that Dwight Yorke was now Trinidad and Tobago manager. Steve McClaren is in charge of Jamaica.

A noticeable improvement this week. Progress.

Hopefully his form picks up during the remainder of the season.  Last year he looked almost world class but I have little faith he’d be able to maintain that level, so I’d cash in this summer.  I can see Bailey and Asensio becoming our big departures to fund a Nico Williams type purchase, a player of that ilk.

I can't see us selling Asensio!

Clearly, but his wage allocation will be useful.

Leon looked much more like he did last season tonight. Came on and really drove at them and created problems - very encouraging.

This was how he started that good run of form coming on and delivering some really good 20-30 min cameos. Here’s hoping for a reboot.
