Maybe if Rashford’s loan spell is any good, Bailey going the other way can be part of whatever inflated-figure-psr-busting jiggery pokery we’ve become accustomed to.

I want him to stay and recover his form from last season, but that may not happen.

If we're unable to register all our incomings otherwise, Bailey leaving could make sense if the offer is right. Would have to be a permanent or a loan with an agreed fee at the end, though. Just a loan would be helping out Man U/Tottenham, and I see no reason why we'd want to do that.

On this season's form I'm not so sure.

True, but Bailey starting matches this season has been like trying to set sail with the anchor down.

It's pointless trying to offload Bailey as he'd never pass a medical.

Sell him to Spurs. That defender they just signed failed two medicals in the last year.

I like us to get Tel in the summer if he works out at Spurs and they can take Bailey.

Toronto Villain shared article by Jacob Transwell
Bailey discussion here

"Other possible and surprising exits failed to materialise. Manchester United had discussed Leon Bailey as an attacking option. Preliminary talks were held, which did not advance. Nonetheless, a departure to another club remained a remote possibility until the final day. Unless Bailey’s form improves, his future will be revisited at the end of the season"

I'm glad we kept Leon. He's got til May to turn it around. He's gonna have to work hard to win a place back in the team. He's also there as an option if some of our incoming attackers don't start quickly.

I do suspect he'll be moved in the summer, but we're now blessed with attacking options. We'd have felt a bit short had we let Leon go too. Particularly with our record with injuries and the fact we have bought some players in with questionable injury records.

I'm hoping he gets a chance to rest, build some confidence and come back into the side on merit, rather than just because he's the only wide player we have.
