I don't think he's the only one in our squad. Not that Onana gets bullied but I half wonder whether he could play through niggles like Ollie has tended to do a lot for us.
I get Bailey may have had a lot of frustrating little strains and aches, but if been deemed okay to play and proceeded to laboriously trundle around the pitch in 3rd gear.

That said, I wouldn't let him leave in this window. We never replaced Diaby. We've since lost Jaden and Buendia in attacking positions. It'd be asking a lot for at least 2 of Malen, Asensio and Rashford to hit the ground running. There's always the hope Leon gets to that point where he's perfectly pain free and may hit some form. But really, that excellent season seems to be the exception and not the norm.

I agree but in the summer. I'd just worry how short we'd be. To be fair Malen has shown promise so far, but there's a lot riding on him, Rashford and Asensio hitting the ground running.

Poor as he's been this season, and frustrating, it's worth bearing in mind that no-one better epitomised the character and determination that gained us CL qualification last season, and that this level of performance followed a period when he had to be persevered with. In my view it would be an awful risk to let Bailey go now.

Takes me back to Ashley Young, he was unstoppable at one time then they doubled up on markers and he was constantly fouled. It had an effect over time, and he was no shirker.

He’s a waste of a shirt, greedy and falls over far too much. He is often double and triple marked though and we need to use the space that is created, however, that means moving the ball much quicker and he hasn’t been able to contribute to that very much this season.
