I don't think he's suited to the Premier League , but would look really good in other leagues .
Probably be ok in the Conference games if we decide to keep him.

Strange one Bailey, I expected more from him but he is more effective than he looks. Stats when he is in the team are far better than when he isn't. Emery seems to rate him too, as he kept picking him.

Buendia is kind of the opposite. Looks good but mostly ineffective.

Suspect both will have more competition by the start of the season.

Bit more internet noise today about him going to Saudi Arabia.

If we're planning on selling him you'd think we could have given him a bit more than 2 weeks off, poor fella.

I have wondered why we haven’t seen footage of Leon all smiles with Diaby given they played really well together in Germany. He appears a bit out of place at the moment in the current set up and JP has seemingly moved ahead of him. Sell Bailey, buy Doku, develop JP and Kayden. I’ll take that.

I think Bailey will leave and we may well get Adama Traore back at the football club. His a very entertaining and interesting option from the bench and given him being Spanish , it seems a match with unai emery

The stats things sounds like nonsense to me.

Since Emery arrived, we've played 25 games and won 15 and drawn 4 of them. 49 points, or 1.96 points a game. Bailey has played in 21 of those, of which we've won 13 and drawn 2, so 41 points, or 1.95 points a game.

So since Emery arrived, we've taken 2 points a game. Bailey has played in all but four of them, and the points tally is exactly the same.

In that time though, he's scored two goals, which isn't really good enough for the main attacking outlet next to Watkins, and is surely something that Emery had in mind when he bought Diaby.

Sounds good to me! What a summer that would be.

FFS. Fabrizio Romano now suggesting Doku is on Man City’s list to replace Mahrez.

I would happily drive Bailey all the way to Riyadh if necessary.

So he's an effective part of the team then; the stats don't show a drop-off when he's out.

I get the need for goals and speed, but I think we've seen glimpses of what he can do.

I do worry though, because, as with Coutinho, I/we're saying that we need to get some of our attacking players fit and give them time, we've also got Ramsey out too .

I think he's still got a part to play. An injury to Diaby and we're left with a promising youngster and that's it if Bert goes.

He played his part in our results, of course. With Buendia though, I'd argue they're the most inconsistent members of the squad, and I don't think we'll see either of them play nearly as much this season, in the league at least.

But if he goes he will be replaced with an upgrade e.g. Doku.
Emery wants some of his own players in a needs to shift some of the stuff he inherited
