The phrase 'like a new signing' is probably over used.  But if he gets fit and firing over the summer he could be another incredibly good asset for next season that would be like a .... well y'know.

Coutinho returning to his Liverpool form, Watkins playing like he did in his first season and Bailey becoming the player we hoped we’d signed would be the obvious 3 front players for next season and would be as good as any outside of the top 2. A great combination of pace, work rate and craft with all having goals in them.

Edit - and maybe Tottenham. Their forwards are pretty shit hot too.

He'll be loaned out to Dortmund on August 30th. Or maybe not.

Agree.  He offers something different, so will be excellent option from the bench.
A complete re-boot is needed because the player, team, club and fans never connected last season.

The header was Andy Gray like. I’m expecting him to now go from speedy glass like winger to hard as nails, high leaping front man.

Yup. Leeeoonn, Leon Bailey in the aaaiiirr!!!

I really hope he comes good next season.

I haven't given up on him.

After watching him push past a nurse trying to ask him to hand Sanitise, casting her aside.

I would like to give this guy zero chance to impress and get him out of the club. Attitude and rudeness is something I abhor

Context: He'd just heard his family were involved in a car crash and was obviously in panic mode

Well, quite. Considering some of the stuff we put up with when Grealish was our employee, not wanting to slow down when you're worried your family might be dead isn't the greatest crime.

The fact he wears his Villa stuff when he's on annual leave makes him more endearing. Shouldn't be rude, but in the heriarchy of importance, i.e. dead family or questionable alcohol based gel/manners I think I'll let him pass.

First the season ticket prices, now this. Is there no end to the shame heaped on this club?

I think some folk are in need of a good holiday.

Same here.
You can’t tell from the video whether the woman on the door was abrupt to him about the sanitizer either. I know that down my doctors many of the assistant staff make you feel like an intruder by just turning up. Either way, under the circumstances it’s a non story really.

And yet, you too would cast him aside. Let he who is without sin....

Thanks for sharing though, as Ads pointed out good to see him in his Villa kit on his holliers.

I hope his family are OK.

I'm assume so, it happened 2-3 weeks ago and the day after his partner posted on Insta thanking God they were all alright etc.
