I've literally never seen Sancho play well. Admittedly i've rarely watched him, but even so.

Well, we could do with him coming good as he's the only attacking player we've got with real pace. I love watching both Coutinho and Buendia but think they're both too similarly one paced to play the majority of a season together. There's also no point having two players putting slide rules passes through when your main striker has the first touch of a wrecking ball.

This, with knobs on.

I think there is a high probability that Bailey comes good with the Summer to recover and then a full pre-season.

Aren’t we allowed to say ‘touch of a rapist’ anymore?
It’s just political correctness and wokism gone mad.

My son supports Dortmund, and I've seen him play well loads of times. I wish he hadn't joined ManUre and stayed in Dortmund, but that's their business model I guess.

As for Bailey, Gerrard seems to like what he's seen of him in training, he made some comments about him being a special talent or some such. If we can get that Bailey playing for us, I do like the idea of a 4-2-3-1, with Kamara + Bissouma or equivalent sitting, then Coutinho - Buendia - Bailey behind a striker.

Surprised we're still allowed to use 'wrecking ball' given the criticism Miley's music video got.

I can’t see where he fits in.  Gerrard sets out a narrow attack and with the intention of dinghe and cash bombing forward   We don’t play with wingers as such

I hope he comes good, nothing better than a really fast player scaring the shit out of the opposition, especially when they also have talent on the ball which he looks like he had before his injury.

He showed some great skills and pace early on. A good pre season and he'll be fine.

This thing with Gerrard and Rangers. He played with one at Rangers I think (Ryan Kent), but at Villa he's only got Bailey and Traore, and the pair of them have been as much use as tits on a nun this season. Even then, he was starting Bailey before he got injured again.

I agree. When we signed him very few if any were against it. He was seen as a really exciting player that scored some incredible goals. And he showed that when he came on versus Everton. Very Aston Villa for him to get hurt scoring a great goal.

You have to say ‘touch of a Duke’ these days.
