Or he scored the goal on a plate last Saturday instead of blasting it over? He doesn’t look good enough

One of the harshest thing to do to anybody is question their integrity, but I do wonder exactly how ‘injured’ he is. When he gave up tracking back that once and the crowd started to get on his back, the limping ‘got worse’.

Or he was injured couldn’t get back and was subbed. Should have come off sooner as it was obvious he had a problem.

Made of glass, paradoxically doesn't seem to have any bottle.

Agree, he should have been subbed sooner.
He tried to run it off but seemed obvious that it wasn’t happening.

One good shot. Far too weak in every challenge and easily dispossessed. From the first time he went down it was obvious that he did not want to battle on. The way he gave up on tracking back when he lost the ball was not acceptable.
The only consolation was that the other glass man Traore did not come on and pick up an injury. El Ghazi must wonder what he has done to have been cast aside.

Still think with a proper preseason he’ll be a very useful asset to the squad.

He’s got the talent, easily good enough a player ability wise to play at this level but he just seems mentally and physically not right to me, a confidence thing maybe. It’s like being in the limelight and justifying the fee is an issue for him, along with the rough and tumble of the English game being too much. Maybe I’m wrong but it’s just the way it comes over. I wouldn’t write him off yet though as he could still adapt and toughen up.

The thought crossed my mind too. Felt like he just ran out of gas, chasing back. Hope it wasn’t actually the case.

Sell him in the summer, and put the money to better use elsewhere.

Having watched it back, it was a bad challenge by Williams - clearly affected Bailey's ankle.
