Writing Bailey off already is crazy. Needs to get and stay fit. Then game time.

You could see glimpses of a very talented quick player.
The injury problems are becoming a bit worrying though.

He will enjoy December and January sitting on a beach in Jamaica

If he can only play 1 game in every 4 he is no good to us

Wasted a shit load of money in the summer

Yeah, we could have spent it on mannequins to fill the empty seats.

It's hard to argue that the money spent on Buendia and Bailey has provided any sort of a return yet.

No but then neither has exactly had the ideal scenario to start in.

Bailey needs a rest and proper physio and no rushing back in.

And Buendia is starting to look good for us. I agree with the comment above about McGinn playing in Bailey's position. He's played there for Scotland and looks good.

Please give us a refund - he clearly is refusing to put a proper shift in.

I still hope he comes good, but he's been shocking so far. I'm on the verge of downgrading him from Bolasie to N'Zogbia.

I'd say that's harsh. He hasn't been on the pitch long enough to be shocking.

And his introduction definitely influenced the Everton game in our favour.

I'm still hopeful as he made the grade in the Bundesliga, but yeah @rse overall so far, no getting around it.

So now we've changed our minds on Ashley Young that he's now good and not shite, we've decided Bailey is now shite and not good ?.

Isn't it more that he's just never fit and doesn't seem overly bothered than that he's not very good?

He’s very talented, but I think he’s trying too hard at the moment. That manifests in not looking up and playing the right pass, because he’s trying to justify his position too much.

4 home points against Brentford and Everton. Whatever that's worth in PL money - a few mill ?

I think it goes to show just how tough this league is and how incredibly fit players have to be to just compete.

You cannot fake his VT reel in Bundsleague but it just does not have the intensity the Premier league has.

There have been lots of world class players that took over a season to shine (Henry / Salah, DeBruyne et al)

I do agree that i think due to cost he is trying to do too much

Watched the goals back today and his effort to close Cancelo down for their first goal was pretty woeful.  Got caught on heels when the ball broke on the edge of the area and then turned his back on the shot instead of trying to block it.
