Pretty sad and puts things into perspective to think that the next time Leon Bailey starts a game for us, there will be no tigers, gorillas or rhinos left. ☹

There hasn't been a first time yet.

Probably a fair reflection on the situation would be, he had a knock before coming to the Villa, we were desperate to parade him he got injured possibly because given enough time to get properly fit and again dragged back in the mix much too soon.  Clubs will never learn.

Think I'd rather the club just said he'd be out for two months or something, that way him coming back after 5 weeks if he returns at Arsenal would feel like a small win.

It's a myth that no club ever announces how long player is injured, just yesterday Man. City said Ferran Torres would be out for 4-6 weeks so don't really get level of secrecy we sometimes get for players like with Barkley last season for how long they're actually out.

All frustrating really as we've seen Bailey can make huge difference on the pitch and Wolves is sort of game we could do with him coming off the bench with 30 minutes left.

Fuck sake, all calm down. He just hurt his leg a bit kicking the ball too hard, he’ll be back before you know it.

He's apparently in contention for Arsenal so hopefully Everton style cameo.

That's Leon Bailey....not Mike!

Start him. And Buendia and Watkins either side.

Let's run the fuckers off the park and play like the Scousers.

Considering Buendia can’t last more than 80 mins and Bailey has only played 65 mins all season I doubt we’ll be able to run them off the park for a full half let alone a game.

Would be nice to be able to use some of these players we’ve acquired this year though for a change.

It seems 'durability' is not a factor much considered by our recruitment team.

This happened to me a couple of years ago.

We were playing outdoor volleyball when a stray football came onto the court.
I kicked it back and tore a hamstring.
Put me out of action for most of the summer.

Mind you, I'm a middle-aged fat bloke, not a professional footballer ;)

Assuming this means the March meeting.
