Smith said they'd look at Bailey after the International break & decide then.

Which is exactly what they've done & they've decided he's not ready.

It's a disappointment but it is what it is.

Its a real disappointment.  Spent alot of money on hom and we have only got what 80 minutes of him so far?

I think Bailey will be okay. Wingers are always a bit brittle but he's not wispy. Sanson, on the other hand, I think is going to be a proper sick note.

Bailey pulling his quad scoring is one of the great football injuries, like Dave Beasant dropping a salad cream bottle on his foot or Alex Stepney dislocating his jaw shouting at his defence.

Vassell drilling his toenail is another.

Alan Wright injured his knee because he didn't suit the seat position of a Ferrari.

Didn't Canizares miss a World Cup or European Championship due to dropping something on his foot? Possibly whilst in the shower.

That's exactly why I give them a wide berth

Seem to remember it was a bottle of aftershave. Hopefully it was a World Cup because there was no way he was dislodging Casillas anyway.

Baileys out superb. More dean smith waffle. I thought he be back after international window? It really frustrates me how they always down play the injuries

Indeed, player in being out longer than Dean Smith initially said. I'm stunned I tell you.

I struggle to see how this is the manager's fault. I'd imagine that he'd prefer to have him available for selection.

Big Keinan injuring himself locking the back door, making a toasted sandwich, and lying perfectly still in bed.*

That's not blaming Smith though surely. It's just saying that 95% of what he spouts regarding injuries is absolute bollocks, because it is.
