I hope we don't but if we stick with the 3 at the back I'd prefer us to really go for it and pick him instead of Targett from the start, I'd be doing everything I can to keep the midfield as the Dm and 2CM that has seen Luiz, McGinn, Ramsey and Sanson all look like they can be big players for us in a push for the top 8, by putting a 10 in there you create the same balance issues as we've had in the 4231 that just doesn't look right.

Be great if he's back for the Wolves game.
He won't be back. He's a Villa player. We will see him for about fifteen minutes in December, two of which will be spent hobbling off.

He didn't look the type to be running back towards his own goal that often and other teams will exploit that. A midfield three is a must for us, think Smith has kind of stumbled on that somewhat but Luiz and McGinn look so much better in a 3. Ramsey, Sanson and Nakamba competing for the last spot.Likely Bailey, Watkins and Traore/Buendia as the front 3 ahead of them. 433 might not suit Ings and Buendia but the hard decisions on selection are coming soon for Smith.
Bailey hasn't signed for us to be a wing back.Just play him off Watkins if we stick with 3-5-2 (Ings hasn't scored since August 21st after all) or just switch to 4-3-3 and play him on the right.
