If this is true,  then questions need to be asked about why the club continues to tell lies about injuries

What did they lie about?

Indeed.

I think that there’s also the point that we don’t want to show our hand to our next opponents. Why broadcast that a particular player may be missing?

I don't have a problem with that.  We had the charade with rat boys injury when we kept being told he was close, only for him to be nowhere to be seen once the team sheet was handed in.

Perhaps lie is a little strong.

It’s all a bit silly as usual from Dean. He does love to do this doesn’t he and I’m not sure what it achieves. Expect him back after Xmas

FFS. "We would be hopeful that he would be available for the Wolves game but we will need to assess him nearer the time."

Only in Dean Smith world is a month out at least a "small step backwards."

Assuming he'll play for Jamaica, he should be back in a month.

Maybe a bit more but assuming he's back on October 24th, he will fly off again around the 7th of November for two international games. If he has to quarantine expect him back at BH around the 28th of November.

Nothing to do with Leon Bailey per se, but I always find it bizarre (and a little depressing) that these footballers get married and have kids at such young ages. As much as it's a short career, it's a long retirement as a mid-30s, probably good looking, definitely in great shape multi-millionaire - do all that then!

Enjoy what you've got, boys, it won't be there forever! It's why I still have a sneaking admiration for the Man City player. He's doing it right (or, rather, what I'd have done).
You seem to be mansplaining men here.

We’ll be lucky to have him playing a full 90 minutes before December then. What was his injury record like at Leverkusen?

Played 40 odd games last season in league and europe. 30 + the season before and they only played 34 games in Bundesliga.

Just shows how crucial a pre season is for players.
