After going through all of that it would have been easy to have taken the money that the 3 English Clubs would have offered him. Looks like hes willing to work for his success, a lesson that I wish a lot of other Younger players heeded.

And the twat he's replaced.

Is he in the Jamaica squad or have we pulled him out?

Edit: Would love to see him get some minutes v Brentford but get the feeling we'll keep him fresh until after international break.

Jamaica have three games, two of which are on the red list, so he won't be able to play in those. He may be able to play in the second one, a home game. However, it has been speculated that Jamaica will soon move to the red list too which would make him unavailable for all three.

Dean Smith  "Leon Bailey progress is going ok but Brentford will come too soon for him I expect both him and Bertrand Traore  to be fit for the first game after the international break"

Deano knows nothing!

The Jamaica Gleaner, who will certainly have their finger on the pulse, say he will return today.

Nice to see Bailey is fit enough to join up with the Jamaican squad.
They obviously have a much lower threshold for ‘being ready !!!’

You watch him aggravate his hamstring injury and be out for 4 weeks! Seriously, Villa should be firmer on these call-ups if he didn't play the last two weeks. It's not just the injury risk, but possible jet-lag from travelling. Will we ever field our full strength line-up?

They would all be missing international duty if they played for united. We really do need to start being more streetwise

Perhaps Deano should speak to Fergie for advice?

This is pretty shit really. Nowhere near our last two squads, but now he’s off training with someone else.

Only at Villa.   I see Varane made his Man United debut at the weekend.  Had that have been for Villa, it would be the last game to one at Christmas.  Fucking stupid.

I’ve thought it was a strange one from the day we announced him signing.
It’s always seemed a bit ‘off’ to me.

Probably nothing untoward.
