They should've just adopted Royals by Lorde.  I've no idea if the lyrics make any sense for a football team but it's a cracking song!

The Man City one or the Reading one. I’m not sure which is more cringeworthy.

Fucking hell, just fell down a small worm hole reminding myself about the Hull fans, and found this incredible cringworthy effort - City's victory video.  It's unbelievable.

Jesus twatting Christ.
Ffs, bloody awful. I think other fans should sing it just to wind the twats up.

That’s so bad.

Can't believe I'm going to write this but ...

The Reading one's obviously shit, but in a moderately acceptable way. I mean, how many actually good songs are there about football teams that are actually taken to heart by the supporters? Hearts have one, the "ooh ahh Paul McGrath" one,  Three Lions for England. Struggling to think of any others that have been actually adopted as a chant (tho I think the Paul McGrath one was a terrace chant first?). Then there's maybe World In Motion (England) that isn't sung but most folk agree it's one of the better efforts. Then nothing AFAIK.

So, alright, the Reading one is bad but I don't see it as particularly bad compared to anyone elses, and to be honest I quite like an "official" club song occasionally. They're mostly inane but you live in hope of getting a Three Lions/H.E.A.R.T.S..

The Man City one, on the other hand, is embarrassingly bad. Beyond awful.

I'm with you on that algy. The Reading one is dreadful, but it's just a really, really shit football song. And after "It's Aston Villa that's who" I don't think we can take the moral high ground! The Man City thing is a whole other level of horrible though, it just sums up everything that's wrong about them. Filming actual fake bits of football and fan chants for something that risible, in the hope that your new fans in the Far and Middle East like it is desperate.

Bailey will play on the left and Buendia on the right I reckon.

Everyone keeps talking about Bailey as a right winger, but he's made 60odd appearances on the left for Leverkusen, and only 30 or so on the right.  Plus he's basically 2 footed.

I should hope he has got two feet considering the money we paid for him.

We've paid good money for no-footed players in the past so I'm not taking anything for granted

The way bailey talked about his best position is right you would think thats where he will play? If he is good on the left taht will be very beneficial too

Ratboy talked about his best position being at 8. It wasn't.

Bailey will play left I reckon mainly, but interchange with the other forwards.

I heard an analysis of him on a podcast just before he signed and a writer from Who Scored said more or less that but the other way round.
