The Man City one or the Reading one. I’m not sure which is more cringeworthy.

I don't understand what these are for? Who are they for? It's not like Reading fans have this on their iPhone.

There cannot be a single Man City or Reading fan who think these were a good idea.

There's probably thousands of newbie Man City fans who think it's great.  Much the same as they would think a half and half scarf is great.

I paused 4 seconds in. Surely that's enough.

Can't believe I'm going to write this but ...

The Reading one's obviously shit, but in a moderately acceptable way. I mean, how many actually good songs are there about football teams that are actually taken to heart by the supporters? Hearts have one, the "ooh ahh Paul McGrath" one,  Three Lions for England. Struggling to think of any others that have been actually adopted as a chant (tho I think the Paul McGrath one was a terrace chant first?). Then there's maybe World In Motion (England) that isn't sung but most folk agree it's one of the better efforts. Then nothing AFAIK.

So, alright, the Reading one is bad but I don't see it as particularly bad compared to anyone elses, and to be honest I quite like an "official" club song occasionally. They're mostly inane but you live in hope of getting a Three Lions/H.E.A.R.T.S..

The Man City one, on the other hand, is embarrassingly bad. Beyond awful.

That Reading thing is dreadful.  It's something you'd hear on an even lower rent Eurovision, if there was such a thing.

As for football songs, Oh to be a Villan by Gary Nock is decent enough.  It's not going to get you up dancing but it's a pleasant and catchy enough song.

Holy mother of God. To be fair, we've had our share of people trying to do Villa songs on YouTube and it's never any good.

Shit hot chocolate as well, which we can agree is the most important thing.
