Big Daz would never let us down like some other so-called "hero" I could mention.

This is a massive signing and its a shame that the Grealish circus overshadowed this.

Great signing but for some reason, I see trouble ahead.

So do I.  He'll probably demand that he's front and central on the open-topped bus as we parade towards the Council House on the victory parade showing the trophies we've received for winning the treble.

I was thinking this also.

Same for Ings to an extent.

Do you think that both will be unveiled together?
Is there a chance that either or both could play a part on Saturday?

I hope his dad doesn’t agitate for a ‘next step’ move in a couple of years, if he does well for us.

Watching one of those videos with his step-father, he mentioned that joining Villa was another step up on the way to the top.  So I think the answer to your comment is that it is inevitable.  Hopefully, the top will be with Villa but the Club should have their eyes open with this one and keep one step ahead with new contracts and 'buy-out' type clauses so as to protect us.  A lesson from the Grealish saga is keep that exit clause at a high level so that if somebody wants the player, they pay top dollar for him.  It is the way of football these days and you are lucky to get more than 4 years out of good players in their prime years unless you are consistently at the top.

I must admit I knew nothing about this kid previously but having just watched his clip on Sky Sports wow just wow. This looks like a serious player who, if he can produce this form on a regular basis, will be a big, big name and worth considerably more than we have paid. I hope we have him tied to a good contract, to keep him happy and to protect ourselves. With our owners, I have no doubt that will be the case.

I think Bailey is quaratining.  I'd expect Ings to be there though.

If we dont get Europe in next few years then the way his dad was speaking i would imagine he would be off.

But i certainly think by then we could handle that if iit arose as i expect we will be a far better side to cope

I can’t be the only one who is uneasy about this transfer?

No squad number given yet.
Press conferences is a garden shed led by his dad/agent.
It just doesn’t feel like the way villa operate and conduct transfer business….as is proven with our immaculate handling of the last transfer out, not the Louie Barry one.

It all feels very Micky mouse and unprofessional to me.

I’m looking forward to being proved completely wrong though.

I think it was all a bit rushed through as they wanted some good news given the Grealish issue.  Same for Ings - announced within minutes of the deal being done.  We probably rolled over a bit on both because of the timing.

His video reel is one of the best I’ve ever seen

However I don’t know whether that’s good thing or bad as it’s just a video reel
But he does look a bit special according to that
