Spent his formative years at Trenčín, like our Wes.

An unusual stopping off point for a Brazillian and Jamaican, I'd have thought.

And then Genk, which isn't so unusual.

Trenčín currently have players from Brazil, Slovakia, France, Nigeria, USA, Suriname, Cape Verde, Ghana, Serbia, Finland and Czech Republic.

I don't know why I felt the need to check that or share it with you, but I did. So, there you go.

Someone mentioned elsewhere that it's worth looking in to the backstory of how Bailey came over to European football and before that why he ended up being adopted by his football coach.

Every time I see anything about this lad and see the name Leon I automatically think of Leon Britton.  I'm losing it altogether.

Imagine Jack stays… how would we line up (with a fit for purpose defensive midfield)?

Then an option like Alvarez (or maybe Jordan Bowery) from the bench.

Should that attack encounter God, God himself will be cut.

Also answers the Trenčín question - looks like they are financed by and a feeder club for Ajax, suggesting why so many prospects from around the world end up there.

Gabby suggesting he could play as a centre forward if Watkins missed any games.

No thanks, he wasn't much good when he last played a few years ago, and I doubt he's match fit now.
