New contract signed, old Bailey resurfaces. Been many a player pulled that one on their club's. He cannot play on Saturday or the right will get torn to shreds.

Bit simplistic, I don’t think anyone looking at him would say he’s not trying.

And like I’ve said on other threads, there are too many players out of form for it to be just a problem for that individual.

For Saturday, we need to go back to the Bayern gameplan and use Philogene as a defensive winger. Bailey gets benched.

There is out of form as just utterly shit. Thats what bailey has been the whole season. Not good enough from him at all.

My gut feeling is that if we do need to sell someone for £50-100m to keep the books ticking over it might actually be Bailey.

His stock is probably never going to be higher than it is right now, he plays in a style and position that rich clubs always are interested in signing, he's the ideal age and it's not impossible that he's just having an Amr Zaki / Roque Santa Cruz season.

I mean, I don't want to be all "called it"...

He will bounce back but he isn't in good form at all.

I don't disagree, but I think you need to put a couple of decimal poimts in those values. Even Saudi teams can't be that stupid.

It’s the old conundrum. Do you drop him because he’s not playing at a PL standard or persevere until he turns it around?

Might have to concede the former strategy soon.

We are playing with 10 men with him at the moment. We have zero attacking options down the right .

Would have to change system for that as Jaden is not remotely ready for this level yet if at all.
