He looked totally distraught at half-time - similar to his reaction when he missed the chance in the last minute vs Wolves a couple of years ago.

We don't have another player in the squad that does anything close to what he does - his speed is terrifying for defenders - when it's working!

I said on Tuesday and I stand by it, he's still massively in credit for me given how good he was last season. However, he was a liability first half in that match and he has been a couple of times this season before now. No time for sentimentality in those situations.

Yes, the credit is there.

My usual ‘for fucks sake!’ shouts aimed at other players were replaced by ‘what’s the matter with Leon?’

Might be better if he's on the bench for a bit, and then he can come on  to try to stretch defences later in the game. Wouldn't be surprised if Unai starts McGinn in his place today.

He was quite the impact sub in his early days with us.

Perhaps if, as I think is quite likely, we're finding Bournemouth a tough nut to crack he and JD can come on and make a difference

He has gone back to how he was before Diaby (his mate) joined.
Diaby gave Bailey a whole new lease of life.

I don’t think it’s coincidental that Bailey has gone backwards since Diaby left.

I think it's completely coincidental. When Diaby and Bailey played together they tended to get in each others way. Bailey is a sensitive sort, he has gone on these runs of desperate form before and bounced back to be one of the best wingers in the division. He can do it again.

Man whats happened to him? He looks absolutely terrible this season.

Got his new contract and now just been crap. Definitely needs better competition because he has just gone back to lame bailey from two years ago.
